Spotify to Focus More on Audio Ads

In February, the audio streaming platform came out with Spotify Audience Network: an audio advertising marketplace that allows advertisers to better connect with listeners through ad-supported music, Spotify original podcasts, and other licensed podcasts. This focus on advertisements will also give companies a chance to choose audiences and the groups of listeners they want to appeal to. The streaming giant also announced that it is expanding its self-serve ad platform for audio and video ads called Spotify Ad Studio to include podcasts.
