Hero Collective Officially Launches New Healthcare and Wellness Division, Hero Collective Health, Focused On Becoming The First Black-Owned Full-Service Healthcare Agency
Hero Collective, one of the fastest-growing Black-owned agencies in America, officially announced today the launch of its new full-service healthcare division, Hero Collective Health. Since 2015, Hero Collective has worked within healthcare, partnering with Pfizer on a variety of general market initiatives; including Pfizer’s longest-running, and Cannes Lion nominated, unbranded program, A Story Half Told—focused on bringing awareness to women and men with stage four metastatic breast cancer. Currently Hero Collective counts both Pfizer and Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a division of J&J, as clients in the healthcare industry.
“Our goal in launching Hero Collective Health is to be a stake in the ground and demonstrate that Black-owned agencies have a place in a segment of the advertising industry we have yet to penetrate. It’s no secret that communities of color have been omitted from the healthcare narrative and have not been a major focus on healthcare marketers for decades. We are hoping to be a leader in changing that narrative forever,” says Hero Collective’s founder and CEO, Joe Anthony.
While being a division of a Black-owned agency, Hero Collective Health will strive to provide its clients with both multicultural and general market healthcare marketing solutions. “While helping healthcare brands reach diverse audiences is a core point of emphasis and differentiation at Hero Collective Health, we also know that the general population is increasingly multicultural, and as such, we have to provide strategies and creative solutions that effectively penetrate the market as a whole,” says SVP Group Account Director, Sabrina Modellas.
Hero Collective Health is currently recruiting and building a world-class team of healthcare marketing talent with expertise across several therapeutic areas and disciplines. “Our goal is to build the most diverse team of marketing professionals in the industry, who have a passion for purpose-driven work and for bringing innovative ideas to an industry that needs to start thinking differently to ensure they are reaching and impacting all audiences,” again says Anthony.
Hero Collective Health will provide a full range of healthcare marketing services targeting both patients and healthcare professionals, in the form of strategy, creative, technology, and digital marketing services.
